Sony RDR-GX350 recording prob

bought a GX350 today, very nice except i get no picture, just sound when recording from Sky.

using a Sony Bravia 32" HD LCD with a SKY HD box.

connected HDMI to TV and HDMI connected to Sky HD box.

set RGB in Sky Box and Sony DVDR set to Line 1 RGB.

also have a scart lead connected from line 1 of DVDR to TV on Sky Box.

basically, when i select the line 1 input on the GX350, i get a black screen on my telly telling me its line 1/stereo, with sound but no pic. the DVDR will play DVD's fine, and the menus are showing up with no probs on my telly. can still record from my Sky HD box to video with no probs.

have tried 5 diff scart leads in total with no change. have tried a plethora of diff scart combinations!


help!

With the TV on the HDMI input from the DVDR and the DVDR set to the Line 1 input call up the Sky Services, System Setup, Picture settings, Video Output menu...if you toggle the video output between RGB and PAL...do you get a picture at all?

prob solved. reset the Sky HD box and everythings fine
