and from what i have read this dlp has full 1080p resolution, its not like the new TI HD chips, which will have only half resolution and do the "trick"

I was going to get a front projector but they really need a seperate room, unless you like living semi darkness. I was looking at a 8 foot wide screen which would of given me around 120' . I was looking at the Infocus 7205 DLP HD2+

Thats the beauty of rear pro screens, it doesnt matter about the light conditions.

Maybe in my next house.

I dont know, but I think Sony just call SXRD technology. So they had their Trinitron CRT,

and now they have SXRD DLP.... :)

    SXRD is not DLP...

It's based on LCOS (Liquid Crystal On Silicon) technology.

Sony call their version SXRD, JVC call theirs HD-ILA.

Erm not exactly sure i agree with that!
And a rear pro is a PJ in a box, you can do front or rear pro with most projectors...........rear pro is not just a TV system its a projection system.............

What I ment was you dont need a room in semi darknes as you do with a front projector.

I have my old 46 rear pro in the bedroom (I had to crane it through the balcony, scared the cr*p out me at the time). If I upgraded to the mitsubishi (please come over to the uk) theres no way I am evan going to atempt to put the RD65 in my bedroom. Maybe if I lived in a bungalow. LOL.....

Nice to see this Qualia SXRD set still getting everyone juiced up, I started a thread last month on this http://www.avforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=190699

There are some great links on the first page from the avsforum about this set in the States.

The set is available in the UK very soon, I hope to have mine sometime in April.
