    Hello,

does soneone know when the 46" LCD-TVs Sony Qualia 005 or Samsung LNR460D with LED backlight are available in Europe? In the US they are released in spring and were show at CES a few days ago.
Does someone know whether they will accept 1080p? I'm looking for an alternative for the Sharp LC-45GD1E.

    Thank you in advance.

    Regards
    Ariomanus

I just rang Sony, and the consensus is "never". Will they ever learn? It seems not.

The Samsung might appear in June, but it might not. Typical Samsung vapourware.

Haven't found a mfr using the AUO panels yet. I'd check out the Philips strobing backlight stuff except they seem resistant to PC signal compatibility or 1:1 pixel mapping, a bit weird but there it is.
