Someone has had the pretty cool idea of turning a PS2 with a network adapter into a HTPC Client. The server software sits on your PC, Mac or Linux box and streams DivX, Mpeg 1,2 & 4 and MP3's to the PS2 (or multiples of) via wireless comms or CAT5e cable.
It can all be controlled through the standard PS2 remote control.
Pretty neat I'd say - apparently work on a PAL version is underway and will be ready by the time network adapters are officially released over here.
The front-end for the Qcast tuner software looks nice too and has playlists and various other options.
More details etc can be found here: http://www.broadq.com
