    Gotta love that machine translation

    "place t Shaun 2 (the PS2)" = "Playstation 2 (the PS2)" :clown:

    Thois product cant possibly sell.

The life of a VCR is triple that of a console. The console will be redundant pretty quickly especially as we wont see this till 2004 and the PS3 will be out 2004/5.

Also how will they price it. At the moment a DVD +/-RW +/-R drive OEM would be worth about £100 and so would a 120GB HDD so it would sell at about £500. Its competition will be two 3rd generation HDD RAM -R combos that may not have a console but that will be down to about £400. If you look at a PS2 DVD player vs a normal DVD player playback quality is attrocious. So to make this viable they will have to upgrade internals. I cant see it being released cheaper than £500, by which time you will be able to get a standalone PS2 and a panny/Tosh seperately for the same price.

Is there anyone here that things this is a good move by sony or ill judged.
