    Hi, :hiya: everyone.

    Some advice much appreciated.
I have had aquired a free:smashin: Sony PFM-42B1E, a few years old now, and well used.
The screen has what can only be described as water marks top and bottom. It has been stored in an outbuilding for a few months.
There is a picture, but it does seem not the standard that everyone raves about. There is also what looks like tiny pixels raining down and flickering (quite faint) at the top and bottom.
It also seems to be oscillating slightly, as in the whole picture.
It's not major, and I appreciate that it wont be up to the 28" CRT that I have in terms of pic, or should it?
I really am a novice to this media.
If it is the screen, are they easy to replace, and cheap?
Myself and my old Man are both (him alot more:() good with electronics, and I feel that I could replace it myself. If it's not too difficult.
    Thanks for any help.
    Graham:D

    Hi Graham,
I have one of these with a smashed screen and it's not cost affective to change the screen, well so I was told. Its an old plasma now and you might have trouble even finding a replacement screen, sorry that's not much help. :suicide:
