My PC9 has devloped a "sticky" zoom control so its difficult to adjust smoothly. The slider doesn't move freely but tends to stick as if it needs lubricating.
Is this a diy repair or do I need to send to a service centre.
Any recomendations for a good one? (preferably near Norwich/Cambridge).

cost of repair will not be cheap.
    lookat Jessops £30 lanc controller.
It's off camera as well so it lets you operate the zoom off camera with little or no shake rattle or roll.
