I,m on the verge of buying my first Digi Camcorder and I,m really torn which one to buy. I,ve narrowed it down but I still can,t work out whether to go for the Sony PC9 which gets a good or bad write up depending on whose review you read. (bad sound apparently) The JVC GR-DVX 707 which is dixons own version of the 507 but with 20 more pixels or something OR do I go for the CAnon MV4iMC

    jeffspiers,
The Sony is a terrific camera, the sound quality is O.K.
My choice would be to shop around for a good deal on the JVC GR-DVX507.

If you do not mind paying the extra cash, GO for PC9, or even better the new PC101( new 1Mg pix CCD).

I have used them, one of the adv. is that Sony's HAVE better and more stable picture( NO focus "hunting"....!!), All In/Outs are on the Cam, better build Qty,....

    Regards,
