My TV has to go back to SONY to get repaired as the authorised agent cannot correct the fault.

Question is; my Tv is well out of warranty, whats cost likely to be, anybody had work done by SONY in the past....any clues as to cost...i'm going to get estimate first. But SONY's turn-around time is 3 WEEKS....i've already been with out it for nearly 2 weeks.

Mastercare were doing a good deal last month (might still be available). You pay £89 and get a 1 year warranty on the TV, Mastercare will fix the TV in your home and supply upto £250 of parts free. If the TV can not be repaired within the £250 limit, they will give you 20% off a new TV at Currys.

The other good point is that you can call them out now and if the TV is not repairable on the first call they will give you the £89 back!
