SONY or Samsung

Can anybody help - I am looking to but a 40" lcd and have narrowed it down to these 2:

Samsung KDL-40V3000
Samsung LE40M87BDX


My budget is under £700 and am undecided still after carryong out research on the two. Samsung new LE40A557P2FXXU has also come into the picture and there are deals about to also get this under £700. Any help would be appreciated.

This has saved me starting a thread.
Im looking at the sony too, ive read a few decent reviews.
Ill have around a £1000 to spend and this looks good value.
I really like the samsung, looks good.
But im open to any suggestions.

Has to be 1080p thats the only must for blu ray/ps3.

Whats the options for this kinda dosh.

Between the two the sony is a definitely better choice.Both excellent performer but the M87 was not reliable
