Richer Sounds currently have an offer on something called SSCR290 which is two rear speakers and a centre speaker for only 50 quid.

Does anyone know if they are any good? I currently only have front stereo Wharfedale 8.2s with my amp and want to add surround.

Alternatively I could get some KEF Cresta 1 for rears (£60 at RS) and not have the centre speaker.

Any opinions?? budget is limited to £100, I know that isn't very much but I have to stick to it.

I'd be inclined to go for the KEF's....
Sony don't really get the pulses racing for speaker line-ups
KEF's have, (and it's only my opinion) a good track record of
    performing multi-channel duties.
I've got a few mates who use KEF speakers & they sound pretty
    good.....
