I convert them into MPEG4 files and transfer them to the player but it wont play them it just says that it dose not support that file format. anyone help ??? I am using xilisoft video converter 3 to convert the file.

I have tried that one (mpeg 4 avc video codec h264 video size 320x240) to no avail. I don't know what else to try.

Just use a program that converts them to ipod format as that works for me.

No greater than 320x240 and either mp4 or m4v
