How do, I'm new and hope you lot can help :lease:

Both my girlfriend and I got new Sony NW-HD5's about three weeks ago, mine black, her's silver. Mine has been fine but hers crashed once and today after working fine all morning just freezes on the little swirly bit when the machine powers up and then turns off, it doesn't respond when the charger is plugged in or it is plugged into the PC.

I was wondering if anyone knew of this problem. I would normally just take it back but unfortunately it was dropped a short distance about two weeks ago and I know Sony will say that the drop has caused it despite the fact it has worked fine up until today.

I'm guessing the drop is visible on it?
Do keep in mind though, that it's advertised with G-Sensor technology, and is supposed to be able to survive falls. So, try taking it back anyway.
