    Hi again all,

Sorry for all these questions. Ive just increased the backlight setting on my unit to 30seconds, has anyone noticed whether this affects the life of a battery charge?

Somethings got to be powering the backlight!

I have mine set to turn the backlight off ASAP. This should increase you battery life.
Also shuffling tracks and continually searching the database will also drain your battery quicker than playing the unit without skipping tracks, fast forwarding etc.

I'm sure there are other things that will drain the batterys charge more quickly.
