I've had mine since Christmas and have had a few problems.

The main one was initially the volume issue which thanks to another post on this forum, has been resolved.

However it has consistently been 'crashing' and 'freezing' lately . After crashing, it says 'no database found' but after being switched off for a while, it seems to recover.

It is often VERY slow in moving between the menus too and this can cause a freeze.

There's obviously a problem with my unit but I've been putting it off taking it back cos I don't want to have to put my 17GB worth of tracks onto a new one and I can't contemplate being with out it for 28 days while Sony fix it.

Don't think I can put it off any longer unless any one has any ideas what the problem might be?
