Sony Nw-hd3 What types of mp3 can i use

    Sony Nw-hd3 What types of mp3 can i use?

    What is the clearest lossy format to use ...and my next question is will it work on the sony.......m4a....ogg.......more info please anybody newbie

    As far as i know mp3 and Sony's format Atrac are the only ones that will work. If you have music in other formats you can get a converter for free like dbpoweramp

    MP3 Format: 32 kbps - 320kbps (CBR/VBR), 32/44.1/48 kHz.

    That is all quite helpfull....but what are the diferent encoders that i can use and which is the best ie...lame, blade,......what other encoders are there out there and which is the best .....newbie

    i THINK they are all roughly the same tbh.

    btw the nw-hd3 doesnt support VBR (variable bit rate) tracks it has great trouble plaing em most of the time.
