Sony nw-hd3 mp3-lossless help

    :thumbsup: Hello i am a Sony nw hd3 user i like the machine a lot...but on thourgh listening i notice a roughnes to the sound on mp3 lame 320k and atrak3+ 256k ....what is the best format to use for sound quality mp3 or atrak3+ and would i be best using any nomalaziation and at what levels should i use is there a lossless format that will work on the machine eg ogg vorbis or monkeys audio if so what do i use ie audiograber eac cdex or something else...disc space is not important but i would like sound quality
    i have a pair of refernce headphones pluged into machine with 50mm drivers
    so any help needed please......

    The NW-HD3 will play .wav files, so if you've got enough disk space to record your music that way then go for it.

    HD3 can't play wav files, only atrac3 and mp3.
