Can someone please tell me what to do when the library on my pc becomes full?? At the moment it is down to 8gb & 16gb left on my HD3.

I would also like to know how i transfer artists back under one name. Tonight I transferred 4 Bruce Springsteen cd's and under "Artist" on my HD3 i have 2 listings of Bruce Springsteen - 1 with 3 albums & 1 with the other.

How do I get them all under 1 heading. I have tried re-naming & transferring back to my computer with no success.

    Anybody kind enough to help?
    Much Appreciated :lease:

For your first question, delete some porn from your hard disk to free up some space...

As for Bruce Springsteen, just delete the four cds because he is crap. :)

Anyway I had this problem. You have to make sure that all the artist names are exactly the same. You will have to go track by track through the defective album and change the artist of each track to match the artist name of the three good albums.

yeh i had that problem its annoying as hell, i would just delete all the albums, get the mp3s from your pc, use something like winamp or other half decent media player to change all the id tags to the same artist, then put them back on. it takes far less time than changing em one by one on the player like you would have to otherwise.

watchinthewheel, thats what i do, use musicmatch jukebox to change the id3 tags cause you can change lots at once, and then make any final adjustments in sonicstage. Tho i have just upgraded to ver 3.0, so maybe it'll be better.

The artist naming problem happened to me as well, i had Maroon5, Maroon 5 and Maroon Five as artists............. so in my case it was pretty obvious what i had to do to sort it out.
If thats not the case, when you import the files in the 1st place, make sure you import them to an "Existing album" rather than a new one.

I've been copying music to my NW-HD3 then deleting from computer, i have recently thought i might be good to make some of these "ATAC" CDs as form of backup.

you do know you cant put them back onto your pc? i wouldnt do that if i were you, if your hd3 is lost/breaks/sonic stage screws up and you have to reformat it you wont be able to actualy get your music back, i would never take that risk, i wont even tell sonic stage where my music files are incase it deletes em by accident due to appauling coding, which it has in spades.
