Sony NW-HD3 hack screw up

    I screwed up while trying to do the volume hack on the NW-HD3 and now all i get is an error message stating that it cannot play tracks.
    Any suggestions

    Tried the factory reset?

    if you get cannot play tracks you need to reformat the unit to do this you have to do the following menu press up on the up arrow and select format then press the play button then select initialize hard disk and then press play then select yes and yes again this will format the hdd and will clear this problem
