I have a Sony NS930 and nearly always switch it on using the 'eject' button.

Several times I have noticed that when I press the 'eject' button, the lights come on, and I turn away to pickup a disk, but when I come back, the tray hasn't come out and the lights have gone back off.

At first I thought I was doing something wrong.. Perhaps pressing the eject button twice, but I have now seen this happen too many times.

When I press the 'eject' button from cold, in about 50% of cases, the lights come on, the unit wakes up (I think it says 'Welcome') but then go off again (as if the standby button has been pressed)

Has anyone else seen anything like this??
