I already own a Sony NS905V DVD player and was wondering if it was worth buying a Sony SCD-XB780 CD player(£229).
Will i notice any difference? or will it just look good in my rack?
I know that the 905 will play just about anything you throw at it but before my wife made me get rid of my old "black" HiFi I had a separate Cd player.

    Regards Malcolm

No faults so far with the DVD player, very goog build quality excellent picture.
    Menu system could be better.

I got mine at AVLand for £319 :

Shop around you may be able to get cheaper elsewhere.

    Hello again,
Had no problems with AVLand they delivered ontime.

I have checked out a few comparison sites but the problem with these sites is they only list the companies that that pay them a fee, so you dont always get the best price.

I recently bought a STR1080 from Empiredirect which had to be returned after it developed a fault.
There returns service was free and promt pickup from my home address.
They did keep me informed of the fact that they were out of stock and offered me a full cash refund.
Was told it would be a 2-3 week wait for new unit and it arrived the next day.

Have also dealt with ASKDirect they are based in Tottenham Court Road and i think delivery is free.
There returns service is a bit confusing though.
