Sony miniDV camcorder - free case

Hi all,

Thanks to you all on this website, you have helped me save me money & offered great advice on various issues over the years.

This is now my 1st starting thread.

I have just purchased a Sony HC47 miniDV camcorder and noticed on another thread that Sony offer a free bag & battery with certain models.

If this is true, can you help me out as I cannot see on their website or inside the box supplied any information regarding this. The only thing close is on the front of the box, it states 'Recommended Accessories' but not that they are free.

I would like to know before buying a case for no reason.

The only reference to a free bag offer on that thread is the statement made by Eric Badger. I don't see any reference to such an offer anywhere on Google.

Not to worry, like you I've searched everywhere but no joy, thought it was too good to be true that you get something for nothing.

No problem. They aren't expensive, bags, and it's not like Sony to give away anything valuable.
