Yes I still have one of these - how else can you watch star wars in decent quality?

Unfortunately this is just sprung a fault. Whenever you power it on it clicks (as it always has when switching on) and the says power off in the display and does just that.

    Anyone got any ideas?

I have got quite a few discs and some aren't available on DVD (esp star wars trillogy) so it would be nice to get it up and running again.

    Thanks.

    Hi,

I had a Sony 850 very briefly. Gotta for a really really cheap price to and mine did that and the shop took it back for a refund.

I mentioned it to VideoTec who said its probably the fuse for the motor thats gone. No idea how you get to it but he thought that its gone for a reason.

May be worth a careful look at the internal fuses.....with the power off of course:lesson:

    Damian:)
