SONY MC55ELK & HD5

    i have purchased a MC55ELK which is the top of the range remote sony have made...even better than the MC40ELK....however it doesnt work on my HD5!! i have a white one with white EX71SL headfones n it looks so good....too bad it doesnt work...

    does this mean no remotes with screens are compatiable with the HD5? it worked on a HD3...

    the screen does not work at all however the volume and track change does...

    plz help!

    my friend has a mc40elk with his minidisc player n it works PERFECT with my hd5...so im gonna try get that one

    Not sure why you say the 55ELK is the most advanced remote and is better than 40ELK. The 40ELK has the jog dial that makes getting through tons of music so much easier than any other remote.

    I have the mc40elk and it works fine. EVERY FEATURE WORKS..
    Do your homework man
