comet online advertise the sony at £1439,has anyone used them ,good delivery? any problems?
Try and have a look in CostCo as i've a feeling it may be a little cheaper there, iirc.
Just took delivery of my new FQ80 from Comet online
I've not complaints , ordered it last Tues and came Yesterday (15th) with free delivery !
Ive bought all my electrical appliances from comet, including a dishwasher, dvd player, tv and cordless phone. I havent experienced any problems with any of my buys. Comet direct also ring in the morning to tell you their expected time of arrival so you dont have to stay in all day.
I haven't had any dealings with comet online, but I bought myself one of these TV's at the weekend from john lewis for £1419. so if you pop into your local branch get them to price match the branch in Welwyn - they'll throw in a free 5 year warranty!! Also you'll be dealing with a shop instead of emails and phone calls
You can get them cheaper than a price match with Welwyn.
I got them to price match with them.
I just bought one from Costco £1400 including 3 year warrenty. If you dont like it just take it back and get yer cash back - no quibbles
Only problem is you gotta have a car big enough to get it home, or a local delivery man will do it for about £30
Must say I do like this TV
hi ,thanks for all the comments i will check out the set at my local comet and then buy online. will post opinion on set.
Without wanting to upset the moderator I would simply say that after a bad experience with this company a year ago, personally I would never buy anything ever again from Comet Online.
I must have been very unlucky, because others seem to have been okay but as they say once bitten...................
