Having enjoyed my Sony 29" 4:3 TV for over 7 years without a hitch I am now considering taking the plunge into widescreen, mainly for the benefit of DVDs. My budget is about £850 and I have a separate amp for the sound so only need a Nicam set. Having read reviews and various threads on this forum, and viewed the sets in person, I have shortlisted the Sony KV32FX68 and the Toshiba 32ZD26. There seems to be little to choose between the two sets picture wise, my only concerns about the Sony are the numerous problems other people, mainly on this forum, seem to encounter. So the Tosh is probably the favourite, the only downside is it only has one of its Scarts as RGB - is this really a problem? If I bought the Tosh I would have to connect my Sky box via the non-RGB Scart - would this really make a great difference? Any advice would be much appreciated.
