I am considering a purchase of the Sony KV32FX66 & currently have a region free DVD player.

Am I still going to be able to watch my region 1 DVD's on the FX66 or is it going to be the dreaded B&W picture?
Any owners had problems or is it fine?
I've had a look on the net & getting mixed reports.

    Can owners/knowledgable peeps clarify?

    Cheers.

Yep I had done that myself.

I wanted someone to confirm this the model is NTSC compat - the Sony UK website is less than helpful.

Also is there anywhere you can get a PDF of the manual and/or pic of the rear connections?
I was shocked with Sony UK's site - no manual or help. In contrast you can get manuals from Toshiba's site.

    Hi,

I shall play a REGION 1 disc tonight on my FX66 and let you know!!!

With regards to the rear connections what would u like to know??

I was hoping to find the manual on the web but as some of us already know the SONY website is rubbish for that sort of thing.

    This is an excellent TV

    Cheers

Thank you for your replies :)

I would love to know what other connections are on the back apart from the 3x scart sockets.

Also has your FX66 got one of those EU conversion plugs?

If anyone wants to get good connection info on this TV try http://www.techtronics.com and find the FX66.

They have better info than sony.co.uk! Sony should be ashamed.
