    Hiya

just wondering can anyone help explain this problem I'm having, just exchanged my last tv for a new one because it was switching itself off and on
Now that I have a new tv, i thought cool, can enjoy my new tv....but now there are faint lines across the screen of the tv that are slowly moving down the screen. I thought it was to due with the tuning as it was only effecting ch5, but its now on all the channels!!

Does anyone know what it is and how can we fix it if possible or is it a fault which I would have to change tv again... :(

    cheers..

Hello Titancentral and welcome to the Forum. :)

Can you provide more details, please?

Are you watching terrestrial (analogue or digital) or from a STB?

hi thanks for the welcome :hiya:

well its a 100hz tv and running on analogue....I think ...aint too sure.

the faint line just keeps moving down the screen slowly, then a new line appears at the top and it starts moving down again!!

Retuned the tv to see if it would help, but still failed there.

    help :lease:

Right, what is it like with other inputs. Ie, DVD games consoll, VCR ect.

If there are no problems with this it could be that the arial signal it self is being affected.
What was it like on the tv you had before. Good picture, fuzzy, Ghosting?
The 100hrz proccesing on televisons varys from make to make. I know for a fact that the analog signal from my Loewe nemos when I had it was very good, but on the sony KV36fs76u was quite bad and it was all from the same arial and lead.
