I've searched the forum for information on this TV and all my questions have been answered except for 1. I would like to know if this TV can be used to watch French Secam videos and transmissions from the France Telecom satellite. I don't want to be able to use the TV for off-air transmissions in Secam, just via Video In.

I have asked in several shops regarding this and they don't know the answer!

I have looked at the Sony Technical Specification sheet and this suggests that for every Sony TV the colour system is "PAL, Secam, NTSC 3.58/4.43". Is this correct? Does anyone have any practical experience of this TV and using it with Secam?

Thanks very much for any advice regarding this...

Sounds about right for scart input. :)

If you want to be 100% sure though, ring up or e-mail Sony UK.
