Sony KV28HX15 Owners

Hi

I've had the Sony KV28HX15 set a few days and noticed that when it's in widescreen mode, either for watching TV or DVDs, the black bands that appear top and bottom of the screen are distorted on the left.

The bottom band is slanted higher on the left , and the top band is lower on the left, so if you try to correct it you just make the top or the bottom worse depending on which way the screen is rotated.

Does your KV28HX15 have this problem.

Hello.

I got one of these sets last week, from John Lewis.
My top left dips slightly, but not as bad as the attachment you are showing.
While my bottom band seems ok.
I had not noticed this before and it is not noticable for me, when watching movies.
I've adjusted nothing on my set, so maybe you should get them to check it out.

Hi

Could you do me a favour and write down all the service settings for each aspect ratio (4x3, 14x9, zoom, wide and smart) as some settings are different for each aspect. I didn't realise this, and in trying to fix the problem, I've created new ones.
