    Hi.

    I'm buying a TV soon.
Could anyone recommend or give opinions for me which would you prefer between Sony KV 36FS70 or Philips 36PW9527?
    I'm in NZ.
I think the Sony EH36 model(NZ) seems to identical as the Sony KV 36FS70(UK).

Sony KV 36FS70(EH36) costs NZ$7000(reduced from $9000 recently by offical),
    Philips 36PW9527 costs NZ$7500.
What's the price difference in UK?...

    What I know is...
Sony one doesn't do line doubling at the same time as the 100hz Where Philips do...
    Sony has less inputs...

I was trying to find out myself by comparing them on same condition.
But, none of retailers has the same setups...

I also wonder if the sony can receive PAL progressive signal.
I read today, that Philips only do NTSC progressive...
Then, how could I possibly whatch DVD with progressive?

or should I wait a little for a new sony36"(not sure if it's coming out. this current model seems like have been out ages...)

I'm not so keen on the natural motion look of philips.
But, It's picture quality seems very impressive when playing demo.
But, DVD picture was little bit disappointing in my opinion...

I couldn't get to look at Sony one.
But, when I compared it to other 34"normal TVs in Sony Shop, it's picture seemed to be little be duller..

I would much appreciated if you can give me any opinions.

    Thank you.
