ive been looking at buying a new TV for a while and have narrowed it down to these two models.

my main usage for the TV would be DVD's and games.

    i currently own a SD-330E DVD player, Xbox, PS2 and a gamecube.

which of these two TV's would give me the better picture quality?

The Toshiba would give you Component in straight from the DVD v Scart for the Sony.

Both are great sets though. I have the Toshiba - and the 330E DVD - and am happy with the compination.

Most people would agree that there is no difference between the two (component and RGB) at 480i and 576i. However one advantage that component has that scart doesn't is that it can do HDTV and proggresive scan, so with a prog scan player and TV, component would be better.
