Sony KV 32FQ75 32" Widescreen Whats It Worth?

    Want to sell this and get a plasma whats it worth you reckon?

    I paid £1498 with the stand 3 years ago which was cheap at the time :) and its still covered by 1 extra year of warranty (its 3 years in august and i had 4 year warranty)

    Anyway whats everyone think, its an awesome TV and won many awards back in its day

    OK, a quick google search and the cheapest price brand new with stand was £688.98

    so second hand value therefore with a bit of warranty would be £400-£450 non inclusive of del

    Bumping this a year on :D ...

    Last I saw on ebay people were trying to sell them for £400... and failing.

    I'd say now between £200 and £300 plus a fortune for postage and spinal injury treatment ;)

    CRTs are depreciating fast. I paid £850 for my 32FQ75 and that was quite a bargain at the time. Add to that the fact these sets have the banding and geometry problems (though they've never been a major problem for me, just some people will read about this and avoid it), it's no surprise the set is so cheap now.

    I'm thinking the best thing is to do is find a retailer who will sell me an LCD or plasma and take the Sony off my hands. It's so much hassle to get it moved :(

    Your be happy to know i sold for £600 and he took it away :)

    It was to a mate of a mate and he was happy to pay £600 after seeing in action, never had any problems with it was a superb TV and did me well for 4 years

    Now enjoying my PWD6 Plasma :thumbsup:
