Sony KV-28D56OU no picture

The picture has recently failed on this Sony Tv, but teletext and sound are still working.
Had a repair shop to have a look at it and was told that a processor had failed, but no indication of what one. Told that it might cost over £200 to repair which is a pity as it is a good set.
So, has anyone come across this problem before? Thanks for any info.

Can't help you specifically, but £200 is rediculous.

He obviously doesn't want the job.

Suggest you get another quote.
