Can someone help me out. When I turned on my sony KP44PX2 today the screen was extremely bright...I checked the settings and all was as before but now I have this haze around most things...for example the sky banner at the bottom of the screen has a white glow around it when it is on...the channel numbers which are green on a black backgroung when switching between sat box, tv, dvd etc has now got a green glow?

what can explain this...can something be done or id the TV on the way out?

I hope I have explained things sufficientl and would appreciate it someone could help me out.

    Thanks

Could be the convergence. Does it automatically set it for you? If so, it may not be remebering what settings it should be at (dead battery inside the tv for example). Do you know how to get in to the service menu? On my RP CRT TV (Thomson) I have more convergence settings in the service menu and can set it pin perfect.
