Nah 13000 is nothing for a CRT rearpro (especially if set up properly ie contrast not set to silly levels).

I still have an old crt rear pro and its over 10 years old now. The guns have crystallised and the picture looks awful ie the colours are all incorrect.

I cant wait to bin it. The display I want is being released next month so not long to go now.

Take it that the coolant has let you down. My old KP 44 PS2 U is @ 22000 and still performing well (sold it to a neighbour). Sometimes I go round there to watch the football and it gives my SXRD a fair run for it money. DRC 50 is an excellent upscaler for SD transmissions. What you replacing with?

The biggest display I can get in my bedroom is probably a 50" due to getting up the stairs. I am looking at the panasonic PZ80 50". It should be out in a few weeks time.
