Hi all

Say I could get the Sony KP44PS2 rear projection tv and the Panasonic TH42PWB3 plasma for the same price one way or another, which would you guys recommend?

Mainly for viewing Sky digital and the odd DVD here and there. I already have a separate audio system so I guess it boils down to pic quality really?

All opinions appreciated.

Many thanks
Andrew

Panasonic gets my vote

although the Sony 44" is the best rear Projection set on sale bar none. I still think Plasma wins.

Any more opinions before I find the key to the padlock round my wallet?

Regards
Andrew

I too am considering a pana plasma, but why are you looking at the pw3 when the 4 is out now?
It's a bloody nightmare trying to find a dealer with a decent setup to judge - still no change there for mst tv dealers.
Also what connects are you thinking of using? It's difficult to find sites with tuner boxes and/or scart to box to plasma vga interface gizmos. The price variance is rediculous of the varying resellers.
At this rate it may be as well to wait for the DLP sets due 3rd quarter
