    Hi Guys.
Well i have gone and done the one thing that everyone warns you against. and that is i have screwed up my Rear Pro big time.
Trying to fix a small geometry problem within the projection engine menu and i have gone and pushed the wrong button. The TV looks appalling. I tried the auto convergence to no avail. It just brings up an error message. I now have a screen that is red, green and blue (and very wonky!). Is there a way to reset this via the service menu (i promise i will never touch it again after this) or is it a call to the nice TV repair man in the morning.
    Any suggestions/help greatly appreciated.
Please refrain from 'i told you so...' that will just depress me even more. :suicide:

    I didn't tell you so - but I would have done :)

Have you searched these very forums for past misdeeds and their resolutions ? Hmmm ???

And I wouldn't have said urgent, unless you're worried about missing the war...

    Mike.

I did exactly the same to a Toshiba set i had a while back. After a few beers and a session surfing the forums,i thought i had mastered the "hidden" service menu!.I paid over 150 quid to have it sorted, but it was never the same.If you do have to get someone in to look at it,i would definately choose a specialist(not a high st repair guy).......i know how you feel.:suicide:

Thanks for that. At least you had the excuse of a couple of beers.
I didn't. Just me being daft. You know, it's like that episode of Father Ted where they discover a small dent in the car and try to hammer it out. Never satisfied they continue trying to improve it only to step back and see that they have totally destroyed the whole car. At least you have given me the hope that it can be fixed. Thanks.

    PS Flimber : 2 - 1 Celtic i think you'll find:smashin:
