I need a light weight and thin TV is the 17" W/S SOny LCD any good.

Main source will be a DTVA or its own tuner.

    Need something for the caravan

    Pros IMO:

    Good looking design
    Fair viewing angle
    Decent sound
Nice cover on back to hide cables
Plastic scren over LCD stops naughty hands touching it
Resonable price for a 17 inch
    It's a Sony

    Cons IMO:

Rather grainy picture (although admittingly not too blurry)
Dust can lodge itself between the plastic screen and LCD

Personally I'd spend my money on a Panasonic 15 inch instead.

    Thanks for the info.

I admit I find it safe buying Sony (however my next DVD will not be unless they start supporting DVD-A)
