Just been to my local Sony centre and was having a good look at their fancy floating-glass 42" plasma.

It truly is a thing of beauty.

Considering the environment the picture via DVD was very good IMO.

I am going to go back tomorrow armed with my laptop and some favourite DVDs to investigate some more.

Has anyone else seen these screens and if so what did you think.

Also does anyone know who makes the 'glass' for it...I think its Fujitsu...as I can't find any mention of its actual contrast and brightness.

    Cheers, Lee

Would have to agree, it is a stunning bit of kit although pricy with the glass stand. Saying that it is a work of art and you'd get more fun out of it than owning a oil painting of the same value.
The LCD 30MR1 is great as well but requires a decent def feed to get the best out of it.
Go on, you know you want it
