Hi,
I've had the Samsung UE40B720 for years and I've found it to be brilliant, but in my current house its just too small.
Having not seen a good SD picture on a 4k model, I'm thinking a 55inch full HD is the better option for now.
(I watch via Sky Q, blu-ray, Netfix, Amazon)
Very uncustomary impulse buy yesterday in John Lewis - bought the Sony, left the till, walked past the LG and changed my mind! So the LG is now set up at home.
So how does it compare with my Samsung? Jury's out - I have concerns but I am aware I've jumped from 40 to 55 so I should stop pixel peeping. However, niggling doubt that I perhaps should have bought the Sony (which was about £550 cheaper!). The great thing about JL is that if I'm not happy, I can change my mind.
Very interested to hear other people's opinions on the best 55" tv for what I watch. Have I made a mistake?!
Cheers, Nic
