    Background in brief

    1) Broke my telly
    2) Insurance co. have offered me the Sony as a near equivalent
    3) The 46 inch version would cost me £833 more
    4) The Samsung 46 inch would not cost me any extra.
    5) I think 40 inch is too small for me.

Is it worth having the Sony (albeit at a smaller screen size) than the Samsung. The ins. co even said the Samsung would be cheaper (though I dont get to keep the difference).

Does anyone else have any recommendations for a 1080p screen between 40-46 (or 47) inch). My room is relatively small (3.25metre to wall mount) but I do like bigger screens.

    Thanks in advance

The X2000 is previou's years model. The performance is still very good, but the samsung has more features. Also consider the brand new Sharp 42X20 or 46X20,which will be in the same level as samsung and maybe better

I cant seem to find those models on the net or on Sharps website.

Also the x2000 model has only just been released. Do you still think the Samsung is better quality?
