Sony KDL40W5500 epg adverts, removal

Picked up my new TV yesterday.
Initially looks OK.
The EPG seems to have two extra windows (Widgets I assume ). One is the live channel view which is OK. The other is full of adverts, can I get rid of this.
Had a quick look through manual but nothing obvious.
Any ideas ?

Had more time this morning and sorted it.
You go into digital setup and there is an EPG section. Options are
Guide+ ( The one with adverts etc )
Sony Guide ( Much better and simpler standard guide)
