    Hello everyone

I've got a Sony KDL40W2000U TV and have it connected to my Xbox 360 via the VGA cable. Via the 360, I have set it up to 1080p but I am no expert so I am not 100% sure!! When I first switch the 360 on, I get a message saying "Unsupported Display Format" - this is in the PC input mode. The colours also look a little washed out - I don't think that this is the famous clouding issue as the TV in SD mode looks excellent.

Am I doing something completely wrong?

What can I do to make the colours more vivid via the 360?

Can anyone else tell me what settings they have for this TV and the 360??

Like I said before, I am no expert so layman's terms would be good!!!!

    Thanks in advance

    Mike

can't help you with the resolution 'cause I have a 720p tv and my resolution via VGA is 1360*768.I suppose your tv can handle 1080p via vga, if not sure though read the manual.

As for the washed out colors just turn the brightness down a bit and turn the color up. It worked for me on my sammy r series. It will never have as vibrant colors though as component, but I actually prefer it like this :D

Firstly the message applies to all of us with the telly, just press a button on the remote and it will go away.

I think there is going to be a dash update (sure its the May 7th one)which address's the vga colour issue but in the meantime just turn the colour up etc.
