sony kdl40v3000 motion blur, help

hiya guys
My one month old lcd has developed a motion blur type problem. It is evident when watching body motion, ie someone lifts their arm up or moves their head etc....it does it on sky,freeview or analogue and seems worse on some channels than others ?...any advice for a ignoramus please ???

It may be worth checking the V3000 settings thread on this forum. I think reducing the backlight level helps minimise this effect and reduces bleed and clouding problems too.

However, I'm no expert!
