Are you happy with the new screen? If you answer yes, then I guess its a wise move.....

I've ordered one from Currys as a replacement for a Samsung but only cause they let me have it for about £750, however after doing this I have been round the shops and have not been impressed with it and I now feel I may have made the wrong choice.

Think I will cancel my order tomorrow.

What was your research like? There are limited reviews on it and the forums on here go on about the 'halo' effect and backlight bleed!!! :thumbsdow

Hi , I too got rid of my samsung Plasma 42" tv that i bought at XMAS after nearly throwing it out the window and got a Sony 40" LCD instead . Not as good picture yet ( As i am still messing around with the settings ) but no screenburn .
