    Hey,

Can anyone actually explain, is there a difference between the Sony KDL32S2530 and the same model but with a U on the end KDL32S2530U ??

Has it been confirmed if there is any difference and what the U stands for?

I have looked at lots of online shops, and for the KDL32S2530 they say it has 450cd/m2 brightness, and all the shops that have the KDL32S2530U they say it has 500cd/m2 brightness ?????

So is there a difference between these 2 models, or are they EXACTLY the same?

    Thanks again

Exactly the same. The U may stand for UK but I'm not sure.

It's silly because it also causes confusion with the budget 'U' series.

Oh, and always take the specs on websites with a very large pinch of salt. Even the reputable ones are frequently wrong.
