Depends on what you find important...

Please give more details on what you want to use it for.

Sony is PQ wise the better panel, but connection wise it might be not.

    pues, es bastante facil...

lo que tienes que hacer es... I'll write in english for the other folks :p

    (lived in madrid 4 months)

Take your favourite dvd out of your collection, preferably one with some black scenes and some action scenes.
Go to the local store and ask it to connect to the Sony.

Make sure the settings are about the ones that Random Hajile posted in the big sony thread. It makes a huge difference. Don't use the v settings, they are completely different from each other.

Then check out a scene you know. Look how blacks are to you, also check if there is a good detail in the blacks. Also check for skin colour and general motion blur. Try to put all those variables in your head.

Then ask the shop owner to put it on an analog feed, a regular tv channel (although imo, your television shows suck :p, jeje). Step back till about 2 metres away, and see if you like what you see.

As for the jvc, it will be harder, cause you can't see it in the flesh. Personally I would never cash out that money for something that I didn't see.
Any particular reason you like the JVC?

I see in a local store the JVC lt 37", with a promo dvd, and it looks great, don´t see the 32", but ...... the money

Is possible to compare the JVC to the "S" or to the "V" series ?

See too the S and the V series at local stores , with DVD "bad boys 2" RGB connect , don´t see any diferences (maybe my eyes aren´t perfectionist), but with SD TV, a "little" diferences. But the prices  , 700 € more for the V. I´m afraid, is very big the diference for my "inexpert eyes"..

I don't think you should cash out for the V, if you only notice small differences.
A tv is only as good as your eyes show you.

Personally I can't comment on the JVC, never saw it in the flesh, but the new Sony range is about the best I've seen on lcd so far. Panasonic and Hitachi, and also Loewe coming close. So my vote would go out for those.

Go for the JVC, I've got the 32" version and when playing dvds, hd content (via pc) or xbox (hidef), it always blows me away. Not noticed any motion smearing and that's even when playing games like Burnout Revenge, which are mega fast!!
The blacks seem better than the Sony I demo'd not long ago.

The PQ on Sky TV and built-in freeview is really good.

Also, many family and friends have commented on how nice the TV looked, especially the blue light! :D

I´m confused, if i compare the JVC with sony "S", difference prices is to think it. but if is possible to compare with the "V" series, go crazy for the JVC.
if the "S" is a wolksvagen and the "V" is an audi, then the JVC is a ¿....?, what a mess !!!
    JVC - D.I.S.T. technology
    SONY "V" - Wega engine
    SONY "S" - another electronics

Personally, the S doesn't cut it for me. I've seen it in three different shops, and every time I was disappointed.

I still can't comment on the JVC...
