When I turn on this TV in the morning, there is no sound but just the video image only. I then Switch Off the POWER once and then Turn On the POWER, and the sound comes on. After switching off the TV once and then 2nd time when the TV is turned on in a short while afterward, the sound is there. However, if the period of the TV being OFF be longer, say a couple of hours, then the sound doesn't come out first time I turn it on. So, I must go through the ritual of Turning-Off-Once and then Turn-On, which always restores the sound. So, I'm living with this.
