    Hi all

I know that this has been discussed at length in the forum but could someone please point out any obvious problems a first timer like me will fall in to, connecting up this TV to a pc using the VGA port.

I would be very grateful for any input/tips etc

    Giulio...thanks

I'd no problems connecting my pc. Had to get a Male-Male VGA cable but apart from that connected straight away and adjusted automatically for the screen resolution.

You'll have to get a cable to connect your soundcard as well, unless you're planning to use an external amplifier and/or some other speaker configuration.

Can you get a 720p signal over vga so it uses the fullscreen of the tv or does it stay in a 4:3 format like im getting just now using s-vid?

You can change that screen resolution to custom settings using a program called powerstrip
